With a laid back fun approach to weddings, Dan Speicher Photography means one less thing to worry about during your planning stages of your wedding. Dan Speicher is also available for portraits, engagement sessions, fashion photography, and documentary work. Based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania (PA), Dan Speicher Photography approaches weddings in a unique way. "Each wedding is different, there are never two weddings that are the same. Keeping this in mind, I approach each assignment as the unique opportunity that it is." Dan Speicher's background in journalism helps him to tell each story, whether it's a wedding, or a portrait session, in an individual manor. His easy going attitude, mixed with his experience behind the camera means that each shoot, regardless of the style, is fun and professional. Dan Speicher is available in Pittsburgh, as well as world wide. His extensive background traveling also brings a perspective that is not usually found in a photographer his age. At 18 years old, Dan Speicher spent three (3) months in Rwanda Africa working with a boarding school for orphans of the genocide. Through the Episcopal Church, he was able to meet the Bishop of the Northern Diocese of Rwanda, and within a few months his heart and spirit of adventure had landed him in Rwanda. In 2006, with just hours notice, Dan Speicher boarded a plane bound for Kenya and Uganda to document with film and photos, Be The Change, a small non-profit that sponsors students outside of Kampala Uganda. These opportunities have caused him to approach each day with vigor and enthusiasm, and he approaches photography and his shoots the same way. Dan Speicher is constantly working to improve his photography and business, and does the same to help young photographers. He is active in his local Pictage User Group (PUG), and often talks to young photographers about business and shooting techniques. Dan Speicher is also active in the local music scene photographing bands like N.E.R.D., Say Anything, One Republic, Cobra Starship, and many other bands year around. "Not limiting my photography to just one area constantly keeps my images fresh and new. I never want to catch myself in automatic mode just shooting to get the shot. I am constantly pushing myself to create images that I haven't made before." Dan Speicher Photography offers different packages for different budgets, and his albums are one of a kind.
